       People from around the world attach a great deal of value to good manners. Some Chinese tourists, however, behaved badly by spitting on the ground, allowing their kids to pee in the public places, and even carving their names on the buildings or statues of historic significance. What they did has put both his family and China to shame.
       To certain degree, good manners indicate a person’s good education and breeding. There are good manners that can be taught to our children and learn by ourselves. It is a good manner to offer help to the old and the handicapped when they are in need of it. Besides, we should guard against such offenses as making a loud noise, casting peels and shells, smoking, and spitting. Resist the temptation to carve your names on public buildings and statues. Setting an example of good manners for you kid to follow will win you praise and admiration.
      If everyone has developed good manners, people will form a more harmonious relationship and live a happier life. So , for a better world, please follow the golden rule: Be polite and behave yourself.
