2020湖南专升本英语写作必备：过渡和衔接词句大汇总

英语写作一大重要原则是遣词造句得当，表达连贯。实现这一原则的重要手段一定是要多多使用衔接与过渡性词语，使得文章的句子和句子之间通顺连贯，并能在文中起到承上启下的作用。
过渡性词汇
那么，考试中考生们最常使用的应该就是以下这些词句：
1.表示起始关系的过渡性词语
first of all，to begin with，according to，as you know,as is known，as is shown.
【例句】As we all know，good learning habits contribute to efficient study.我们大家都知道，好的学习习惯有助于高效学习。
2.表示时间顺序的过渡性词语
at the beginning，then，later，in the end，finally，at last，after that，afterwards，since then，immediately，meanwhile,etc.
【例句】Meanwhile，we all enjoyed the beauty of nature.同时，我们都欣赏了大自然的美丽。
3.表示并列关系的过渡性词语
and，or，as well as，neither...nor...，not only...but also...，either...or...，not...but...，etc.
【例句】Either he could not come or he did not want to.他要么是不能来，要么就是不想来。
4.表示转折关系的过渡性词语
but，yet，however，while，otherwise，on the contrary,nevertheless,etc.
【例句】On the contrary，the volunteers always claim that they are tired of the life on earth，so they are eager to experience the future life on the Mars.相反，这些志愿者总说，他们厌倦了地球上的生活，因此他们渴望体验未来火星上的生活。
5.表示因果关系的过渡性词语
because，as，since，for，thanks to，due to，as a result of，so，therefore，as a result/consequence,etc.
【例句】As a consequence，children become so reliant on their parents that they have no independent thought or creative ideas.结果，孩子们变得太依赖父母，以至于他们没有独立的思想和创造性的想法。
6.表示条件关系的过渡性词语
if，unless，in case(of)，as/so long as，on condition that,provided(that),etc.
【例句】I would be very grateful if you could meet him at the airport.如果你能到机场接他，我将不胜感激。
7.表示递进关系的过渡性词语
what's more，furthermore，moreover，besides，what's worse，still less，to make matters worse，worse still,more importantly,etc.
【例句】Many of them can hardly look after themselves，still less manage their own life.他们中的很多人几乎不能照顾自己，更别说经营他们自己的人生了。
8.表示列举事实的过渡性词语
such as，for example/instance，take...for example，that is to say，as follows，in other words,on the one hand...on the other(hand)...，for one thing...for another...,etc.
【例句】On the one hand，I will organize some English activities，for example,to hold English debates or English speech contests so as to help us students arouse our interest in learning English.一方面，我会组织一些英语活动，例如举办英语辩论赛或英语演讲比赛，目的是帮助我们学生提高学习英语的兴趣。
9.表示观点的过渡性词语
in my opinion，in my view，in my point of view，as far as I am concerned，as for me，personally，etc.
【例句】Personally,I prefer the second option.就我个人而言，我倾向第二种选择。
10.表示总结的过渡性词语
in short，in brief，in conclusion，in a word，to sum up，all in all，on the whole，in general，generally speaking,etc.
【例句】All in all，traveling is the best choice to enrich our lives and get ready for the new challenges.总的来说，旅游是丰富我们的生活、准备迎接新的挑战的最好的选择。
