Lubrication System

     Lubrication is the process, or technique employed to reduce wear of one or bothsurfaces in close proximity, and moving relative to each other, by lubricant between thesurfaces to carry or to help carry the load（pressure generated) between the opposingsurfaces. Adequate lubrication allows smooth continuous operation of equipment, with

only mild wear, and without excessive stresses at bearings. When lubrication breaksdown, metal or other components can rub destructively over each other,  causingdestructive damage, heat, and failure.

    The lubrication system forces oil to high friction points in the engine to protectmoving parts from friction, wear, and damage.  It is one the most important enginesystems affecting engine service life.
