Trunk Lid，Liftgate，Tailgate

   Three-box cars feature a trunk lid, the opening of which does not usually allowloading and transportation of large goods；this task is better performed by two-box carsliftgate, the height, width and contour configuration of which must enable maximum easeof access. This goal can be met with an adequate shape of the liftgate opening, for instanceby a forward cutting of roof upper liftgate border, or by an optimization of the hingessystem or by the addition of a tailgate under the lower border. For the same purpose，thetail lamps should be located on the body side，close to the liftgate, and be narrow andextended in height，since regulations do not permit tail signaling lights to be installed onmovable parts. Also，the rear body side pillars should be extended in the X direction morethan the Y direction, and the liftgate frame should be wrapped over the pillars instead ofbuilt in.

    Trunk lids，liftgates and tailgates are usually stamped with steel deep drawing sheets,thickness between 0.6 and 0.8mm, both for outer and inner panels. The inner panels areoften reinforced in the hinges and struts attachment zones.
