I Teaching Aims:
Knowledge aim: students can master the meaning and pronunciation of key words Ability aim: students can improve their ability of listening and speaking.

Teaching key point: students can understand the meanings of these new words and
can tell what they can do in each season.
Teaching difficult point: students can get information about seasons clearly through listening and improve their ability of speaking.
III Teaching Methods: task-based teaching method, situational teaching method, communicative approach.
IV Teaching Procedures:
Step 1: warming up and lead-in
After greeting with the students, I will sing a song color song to my students yellow is the color for the banana, red is the color for the tomato, blue is the color for the sky and sea, green is the color for the leaves on the tree. Then I will introduce the topic of this lesson seasons.
Step 2: pre-listening
Show a picture about spring and describe want we can see in the picture, which will let students understand it is a scene of spring and then write the word on the blackboard. Use the same way to teacher word summer .
Describe a situation for the students: it is a season for harvest and it s a golden season, then let students to guess and introduce word autumn to students. Use the same way to teach word winter .
Use body language to teach cold and hot.
Teach warm and cool by setting situation.
Step 3: while-listening
Listen the first time: How will we feel in spring?
How will we feel in summer?
How will we feel in autumn?
How will we feel in winter?
Listen the second time: What we can do in spring ?
What we can do in summer?
What we can do in autumn?
What we can do in winter?
Listen the last time: pay attention to the pronunciation of each word and read after the tape.
Listen the third time: pay attention to the pronunciation of each word.
Step 4:Post-listening
Activity 1: do a survey
4 students in a group and ask what do they want to do in each season. Then invite 2 students to report for us.
Activity 2: which season do you like best and why?
Step 5:Summary and Homework:
Invite one student to summary what we learnt today. Ask them to draw pictures about their favorite season.
