Being Single is Good or Bad
Nowadays, being single becomes a heat topic. Some people think that it is adults’ responsibility to set up a family. While other people regard marriage as a burden. They insist that being single is the best choice for themselves. For my part, I agree with the latter. The reasons as follow:
First, single people have more freedom to do what they want to do. Young adults expect to have a free space for them to do something they like. They like living a life that they don′t need to obey anybody. Being single, people don’t need to tell  anybody else about their decisions and get others’ permissions. If they want to go shopping and they just go out at any time. If they want to take a vocation, they can go at any time. In a word, Freedom is being single, and being single is happiness.
Then, for single people, it is not necessary to be responsible for others. As we all know, building up a harmonious family is very difficult. One has to make great sacrifice for his family members. For example, one needs to take responsibilities, like cooking, washing, and cleaning. One needs to think about how to arrange income to make ends meet. One needs to think about how to make family members have a comfortable life. What’s more, one needs to think about how to educate children.  However, single people are not confronted with those boring things and those family members. They just need to take good care of themselves.
Last but not least, being single is good for the social stability. In today’s society, the divorce rate is higher and higher. For every country, divorce has becomes a serious social problem. It leads to many unstable factors. Such as, some children lose their parents, and there are no people raising them up. It is reported that some divorced people start to steal things when they have no stable income. Nevertheless, being single can avoid those unhappy things. To some extent, it is good for steady development of the society.
From the reasons mentioned above, we can see the great benefits of being single for individual, for others and the society. So we should understand single people’s lifestyles and respect their choices.
