i’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. i hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.

first i want to ask you some questions:

1、 do you know what is youth?

youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshne; it is the freshneof the deep springs of life .youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often existsin a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.

years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul .worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wirelestation : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

社团文化活动丰富了大学生的课余生活，营造积极向上的校园文化艺术氛围，为大学生提供展示自我的平台，能够充分展现当代大学生的青春活力。为进一步推进我省高校大学生素质拓展工程，提高广大同学的英语应用水平，我协会现准备开展大学生英语演讲比赛。现将活动方案策划如下：

【活动主题】

江苏技术师范学院大学生英语演讲比赛

【活动目的】

二十一世纪是高科技迅猛发展的时代，是国际交流更加频繁的时代。英语水平的提高对国际之间的交流起着至关重要的作用。作为二十一世纪的大学生，我们应该责无旁贷，学好自己母语的同时加强英语的锻炼，为我们社会的发展尽一份绵薄之力。所以为了增强同学们运用英语的能力，为广大同学提供一个展现自己舞台。通过参加这次活动，提高同学们英语应用能力，增长自己的演讲能力。丰富我们的生活多样化。通过同学们积极参加活动，可以促进同学们学习动力和熟练运用技能，同时向全学校宣传演讲技巧，更加促进学习英语积极性。

活动内容：进行初赛，复赛的比试

比赛流程：

在四月中旬初赛：进行海选，请一些英语老师当评委，选出20至30人进入决赛，晋级同学可接受专业老师的指导以便好的在决赛中发挥。

五月份决赛：全校学生都可以观看，具体过程如下：

1）主持人介绍评委嘉宾，致欢迎词

2）主持人引言，对这次活动内容做简短介绍，宣布比赛开始

3）赛队员按照抽好的编号依次进行演讲。（共两场：一场是自由演讲，一场是命题演讲）（每位选手演讲控制在4分钟以内）

4)比赛中途由嘉宾演唱英文或外文歌曲，进行一次现场游戏互动

5）请特邀嘉宾++致辞

6）评委总结，颁发奖品及证书

7）主持人宣布比赛结束

8）获奖选手，评委，嘉宾，主持人拍照留恋

评分规则：1)发音标准，自然流畅。

2）内容健康，主题鲜明

3）仪态举止大方得体

4）思维敏捷

5）装束得体

【活动风险评估】

1、举办时间内发生了不可抗力的事件不得已可终止；

2、组委会的组织水平或由于工作人员疏忽导致比赛状况等原因考虑应急方案。

【活动经费】

同其它促销活动一样，对外宣传活动，不仅要考虑其效果，而且要核算其成本，力求少花钱、多办事、高效果。一般来讲，本活动所需的费用支出，包括以

all the celebrations welcoming the new century were hold in the year 2014, because life without a greeting is like the sky without the sun.greetings are very important for the whole world,in my opinion.

but i don't know whether greetings are enough for us.especially when we meet with failures .i remember quite clearly that when i was a child,if i fall down and was on the brink of crying,my father always told me"please stand up from where you fall down!"

yes,we must stand up from where we fall down.

that was a special mid night in 1993.expectations filled our hearts.we stared at the tv,hoping excitedly as the voice would fly to our ears.but at last,each chinese who loves our motherland was distressed to know the result:beijing ,lost to sydeny by a margin of two votes in the olympic hosting competition.

eight years have past,but the frustration has not healed with time at all.now,at the begining of the new millennium,all of the pride and disappointment of the 20th century had gone with the wind. the 21st century,which is full of hope,longing znd thought has come. someone said,we would start from zero on.should i really start from zero on?

no!i hold that we should go on with our efferts and ambitions stayed by last century,and make our life better.

"new beijing,great olympics!" the voice cries this out around china's captital,a 3,000 -year-old city these days.

beijing,along with paris,istanbul,osake and toronto,has been shortlisted by the international olympic committee as an official candidate city for the 2014 olympic games.

this is beijing's second attempt to host the games.

everyone fully supports beijing's bid for it.

maybe,we can paint fences along the main roads of beijing.

supporting beijing's bid is a systematic project that can support china'sdevelopment efforts.

i believe recycled paper,clean fuel,sorted rubbish,water-saving and enery-efficient facilities will become reality in the coming years for china.i believe the new century is an era of learning ans teaching,and lifelong education has become one of the main trends in the future developmet of chinese society.

i believe that,on july 13,our dream of beijing's olympic bid will become true.because to millions of chinese,for china to have the gloal respect and support that she deserves is not just a dream.

it is a part of our very souls.for we are not only equal members of our motherland, china,but we are also equal contributors to the world as a whole. let us stand together,all nations in beijing,in brotherhood,friendship and peace, in 2014 and forever!

as you slowly open your eyes, look around , notice where the light comes into your room; listen carefully, see if there are new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness in the air.

在21世纪的我们，学习英语已经是一门必修课了，如今为了加强学生的英语学习，英语氛围，形成一种英语无处不在的学习环境，同时也为了提高我院以其各个英语爱好者的综合能力，丰富学习课余文化活动，创建良好的校园文化氛围，因此，我们英语1+1 决定开展英语角活动,邀请我校广大英语爱好者一起学英语

二．活动目的：

〈1〉提高同学学习英语的积极性，特别是提高对英语口语训练的积极性。 〈2〉丰富学生的课余生活。

〈3〉为学生提供一个学习和交流英语学习的平台，共同进步。 〈4〉加深对英语口语的重要性的认识。

〈5〉通过举办活动，为广大英语爱好者提供一个互相交流和学习的机会。 〈〉让大学生体会英语的魅力，敢于说英语，敢于秀自己。

1、宣传部：负责制作海报、横幅、写广播稿和新闻稿。

2、学习部：负责整个活动的摄影工作。

5、文-体部：负责布置会场活动，座位的安排。

【1】、比赛以公平公正为原则，以丰富和活跃校园生活、促进交流与沟通为宗

旨，比赛一次性解决。

【2】、大赛分为自我介绍，演讲比赛，才艺展示三个环节。依据评委打分计

算出成绩，最后颁发一等奖、二等奖、三等奖和参与奖。

3、活动流程

一、活动步骤

【1】、主持人开场白【3】、选手按照比赛具体步骤依次上台演讲和英语才艺展示。 【4】、评委点评，有七个理事和会长们点评 【5】、主持人宣布比赛成绩和名次【6】、颁奖由会长发奖 【7】、活动参与者合影【8】、主持人宣布活动结束【9】、按照统一安排依次退场

二、比赛具体过程

第一个环节：选手简要作自我介绍，大约每人1分钟，由评委打分（20分）。第二个环节：演讲总分50分。选手依次上台演讲，大约每人五分钟。第三个环节：才艺展示总分30分。

第四个环节：演讲结束后，由评委作总评。并依据比赛成绩宣布各参赛选手成

绩。

三．具体评分细则 ：（满分100分）

●仪表形象：（20分）

1）着装整齐，大方得体。（10分）

2）姿态自然，动作适度。（10分）

●演讲内容：（50分）

3）主题鲜明，符合主题内容。（25分）

4）内容充实，事例动人，贴近生活，富有鲜明的时代感。（15分）

5）行文流畅，用词精练，详略得当。（10分）

●语言艺术：（30分）

6）发音标准，流利。（10分）

7）节奏处理得当，技巧运用自如。（10分）

8）表现力、应变能力强，能活跃气氛，引起高潮.(10分）

●评分规则：

评委明确给出每部分评分（评分为整数），由工作人员进行最后加总，去掉最高分与最低分，取平均分为选手比赛成绩，按成绩排名分别获一、二、三等奖。

八. 颁奖：

比赛结束后，有会长团上台按由低到高的顺序颁发获奖证书和奖品
